A just culture is one aspect of a culture of transparency. It’s about sharing information, and being able to speak without fear, especially being able to report bad news. That’s the philosophy behind this three-part webinar.
But what is a just culture? We’ve chosen four resources to introduce and illustrate the subject: an animation, a diagram showing the attributes of a successful safety culture, a concrete illustration, and the keywords chosen by Sydney Dekker.
A just culture is a shared concept that has a significant impact on the climate of the organisation. In practice, it also means knowing how to react appropriately to each situation. Finally, it means establishing a climate of trust, acknowledging the contribution of each individual, and encouraging everyone to get involved. In short, it’s a powerful lever to improve safety!
This webinar will be followed by two, first-hand accounts from safety professionals.
